Chuck Prince is planning to step down as chairman and chief executive of Citigroup after an emergency board meeting of the financial services giant on Sunday.Mr Prince has told close colleagues he intends to resign at the meeting which was called to consider his future and the further losses the company faces on its holdings of mortgage-backed securities, according to people with knowledge of his plans.
